Adolescent Inpatient Program
For adolescents in a mental health crisis that presents an imminent danger to themselves or others such as suicide, significant changes in daily functioning, delusions, changes in eating or sleeping, or excessive and debilitating emotional distress, we offer inpatient hospitalization. During an inpatient stay, adolescent patients may receive a psycho-social assessment, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, group and family therapies, therapeutic activities, life-skills training, medication education, nutritional counseling and discharge planning. Patients are treated in a therapeutic environment that provides medical and psychiatric stabilization as well as 24-hour nursing care.

Adolescent Outpatient Programs
Whether transitioning from an inpatient stay or needing specialized treatment while still at home, school and in the community, we offer multiple levels of care to meet individual needs and goals of adolescents. Our programs are designed for youth ages 12 to 17 who may need improved functioning with mental health or substance use (SUD) challenges. Families are essential to the adolescent’s treatment success and thus are involved from the initial assessment to treatment planning and discharge. Outpatient programs and services for youth are offered in-person only at our Branches Jamaica Plain location.
