Steve Fahey

Steve Fahey, Chief Executive Officer

Stephen brings over 30 years of administrative healthcare experience, mainly in behavioral health. As Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Arbour Hospital, including Arbour Counseling Center in Jamaica Plain and The Quincy Center, he is responsible for the operational management of clinical and non-clinical departments and regulatory affairs. As CEO, Stephen continues to drive quality control, positive outcomes and service excellence in the care provided to our patients and community.

Prior to his role at Arbour, Stephen served as the Executive Director of Behavioral Health at Yale New Haven Health. Steve has received his Bachelor of Arts from Providence College, his Master’s in Social Work from Boston College, and his Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University, representing his vast knowledge in healthcare administration as well as in clinical care.

Laurence Du Comb, Chief Medical Officer

Laurence earned his medical degree in Detroit at Wayne State School of Medicine in 1975 and completed his residential training in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1979. He started working at Arbour Hospital in 1982 as an attending psychiatrist and has devoted his career to the service of psychiatric inpatients. He accepted the position of chief medical officer in 2014, which has given him the opportunity to work with a dynamic medical staff and interdisciplinary team to coordinate the best care for his patients.

Sylvester Enaifoghe, Director of Service Excellence and Human Rights

Sylvester Enaifoghe, Director of Service Excellence and Human Rights
Sylvester is responsible for receiving and investigating patient complaints regarding human rights and allegations of regulatory standard violations. He monitors organization practices to assure compliance and serves as a resource to patients and staff to make sure patients are aware of their rights. He assists in the development of educational programs to promote understanding of rights and responsibilities within the hospital.

Prior to his current role, Sylvester served as the milieu manager of two adult units within Arbour Hospital for roughly 20 years. In that role, he was responsible for milieu programing and worked with treatment teams and patients to meet their treatment goals. Sylvester also coordinates with area colleges and universities in recruitment for co-op and internship programs at the hospital.

Shaun Doherty, Director of Nursing

Shaun Doherty, Director of Nursing
Shaun has worked at Arbour Hospital for 18 years and has fulfilled the roles of staff registered nurse, nursing supervisor, nurse manager, director of admissions, and director of nursing. As director of nursing, it is his responsibility to oversee the day-to-day operations within the hospital and daily admissions during the week. He provides service excellence and works with all members of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Craig Keefe, Director of Clinical Services

Craig spent several years in the 90’s at Arbour Hospital working in both the Intake and Crisis Departments. He left to engage in a career that has included clinical experience in the prison system, school systems, outpatient agencies, and most notable as clinical director at the Academy of Physical and Social Development in Newton since 2013. Craig is a Master of Social Work and licensed independent clinical social worker.

He rejoined the Arbour team in June of 2017. Craig’s shift back into the inpatient setting was motivated by the opportunities to apply quality care to a patient population that requires several resources to assist in daily stabilization and community reintegration.
