Visitor Information

We welcome friends and family visiting their loved one as a patient at Arbour Hospital, as approved by the patient. Support and communication with loved ones are essential to effective treatment and discharge planning.

We have established policies for visitation for the safety of patients and visitors. Please review this page and call ahead prior to visiting to verify visiting hours which are subject to change and may vary during holidays or other events.

Visiting Hours

Please check with the front desk or your loved one’s treatment team for up to date visitation hours or to discuss hours outside of those times.

Items Allowed

The following items may be brought to your loved one at Arbour Hospital.

  • Un-opened, store-bought food and drink (no fast food allowed).
  • Maximum of three (3) outfits per patient. Clothing must not have belts or strings.
  • Small amount of cash for vending (single bills of up to $20 and change are preferred).
  • Appropriate books and magazines.

Visiting Guidelines

  • All visitors must be at least 18 years of age and are required to present a valid ID.
  • Visitors must empty their pockets of all items, including valuables, sharps, lighters, matches, cell phones and cameras. Items must either be returned to your vehicle or stored in the lockers. Visitors will also be scanned for contraband.
  • Visitors will be asked to sign in and will receive a badge, which must be worn at all times.
  • Items visitors bring for the patient will be searched and kept at reception desk prior to visit.
  • Visitations will be supervised and time may be limited.
  • Physical contact is not permitted during the visit.
  • If you are not feeling well, we ask that you reschedule your visit.
  • Arbour Hospital is a non-smoking, tobacco-free facility.
  • Pictures cannot be taken to protect patient privacy.
