Teaching Programs

Arbour Hospital strives to provide quality behavioral healthcare to every patient. Our staff members participate in comprehensive teaching programs to enhance their treatment skills and stay educated on current behavioral healthcare procedures.

We are also a clinical rotation site for several undergraduate registered nurses (RN) programs and a psychiatric nurse practitioner program. Medical residents and physician assistant students from Northeastern University, Tuft school of Medicine, and Roxbury Community College also rotate through our facility. We also offer internships to social work students from Boston College.

Undergraduate RN Programs

During an average semester, we typically have six or seven clinical nursing groups rotate through the hospital to satisfy the psychiatric nursing requirement of their curriculum. Participating RN schools include Northeastern University, Roxbury Community College, and Quincy College.
